Angie

I’m in a weird place.

For a couple of weeks now I’ve had this feeling of just being empty and numb. I don’t know why I’m feeling that way or how to change it. It’s not that I’m depressed or anything like that, its more like a feeling of my life being a never ending routine, a circle. And like all the things I do lead to absolutely nothing.

It’ll pass, but for now it sucks.

I took an unintentional break from my weekly challenges. It really was just cause I got so busy and caught up with work and things that I forgot to set the goal for the week. I’m starting again this week with no white foods— bread, rice, pasta, etc…

So, that makes it:
•no coke
•no hot cheetos
•work out at least 3 times a week
•no white foods

This week will be a bit rough as I haven’t really kept to the goals that well. I’ve tried big time, but my schedule makes it hard to go to the gym 3 times a week. And I’m so completely hooked on Cheetos that even though I’ve slowed down, I still eat them on occasion. The coke has probably been the easiest thing to drop.

Okay, that’s it. I’ll keep you posted.

Weekly challenge

I didn’t totally achieve my goal last week. I aimed to go to the gym at least 6 days. I only went 3 times. So boo me. But I went again today. And the goal is to go a least 4-5 times this week. I feel like 6 might be tough with work and school and all…
My new goal for week 4 is to drink only water — no tea, no juice, no coffee — nothing but water.

So, to recap:
Week 1- no coke.
Week 2- no Cheetos.
Week 3- gym 6 days.
Week 4- drink only water!!

That is all.
Carry on.

Weekly challenge.

So, I’m doing this thing lately where at the beginning of every week I change one thing about my life that I find to be bad or add one thing that would improve my life.
Week 1 was coke. I gave it up and haven’t had it in 2 weeks now.
Week 2 was Cheetos. Unfortunately, i failed at this one. I had one small bag. But I’m back at it this week. No Cheetos!
Week 3 (this week), I will be adding exercise to the schedule. The goal is to work out at least 6 days this week. Today marks day 1 and I am at the gym as we speak. Just finished the elliptical and am cooling down on the bike now.
I like this new thing. It helps me to improve one thing at a time without being too severe.
I’ll keep you all posted on my progress.
